Quantum Biofeedback and Diabetes Management
from Dr. Violetta Anninou, Ph.D.
Molecular Biologist with HONORS, University of Delaware, U.S.A.
Diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas can no longer produce the hormone insulin or when the body does not use it properly. There are many types of diabetes. The most common are type I, type II and gestational diabetes. Its incidence is in over 422 million people worldwide, many of whom are not fully aware of its effects and how they can play an active role in their health.
80% of people with diabetes die from stroke, heart failure, heart attack or heart disease. Many sufferers also suffer from serious health complications, such as nerve damage (neuropathy), kidney failure, blindness, periodontal disease, poor blood circulation and difficulty in wound healing. These statistical facts seem frightening, but the good news is that diabetes can be managed.
Initially, it is deemed necessary to focus on the exogenous factors that contribute to the appearance and course of diabetes. Increased stress that causes elevated cortisol levels, inflammation, smoking, poor glycemic control and lack of physical activity are factors that contribute not only to type II diabetes, but also to cardiovascular disease and obesity.
The studies that have been carried out with biofeedback technology show positive results in the course of diabetes. A study to determine the effects of biofeedback and relaxation on blood glucose and HbA1c (A1C) in patients with type II diabetes showed that subjects with non-insulin-dependent diabetes had a regulated mean blood glucose and HbA1c was significantly reduced.
Other research on the effect of biofeedback on diabetes shows how biofeedback can reduce depressive mood, stress, hypertension, insomnia, suggesting psychophysiological parameters in blood glucose regulation. Also the new branch of Psycho-neuro-immuno-endocrinology, which is the study of the interactions of the psyche, nervous and endocrine functions and immune responses, applies medical knowledge to the treatment of various allergic, immunological, autoimmune, rheumatic, neoplastic, endocrine, cardiovascular and dental pathologies, among other disorders such as diabetes.
With these foundations, Quantum Biofeedback has the unique ability to reveal how emotions, neurotransmitters and different stress responses can contribute to type II diabetes. Louise Hay, in her book “You can Heal your Life”, states that the pancreas is an organ of joy. It states that people with suppressed joy and people suffering from depression/anxiety may be more prone to diabetes and its consequences. This is one of the reasons why it is vital to control the psycho-neuro-endocrine-immune response in type I, type II and gestational diabetes.
The above information shows us the need to educate people in their daily habits and choices, in order to restore a healthier homeostasis in their cells. People with diabetes need multiple interventions to achieve their balance with hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia. Quantum Biofeedback and Holistic Nutrition provide a useful aid to improve wellness and glycemic management, which is the most advanced in the digital healthcare transformation.
At the same time, the stress factors that cause diseases are reduced. Prolonged stress can lead to many medical conditions such as depression, hormonal disorders, chronic fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. We must therefore treat the body as a whole - physically, mentally and psychologically - in order to have an optimal health.
Computerized Integrative Quantum Medicine Biofeedback is a non-invasive healing medical technology that energetically scans, harmonizes bodily imbalances helping to restore the body to its natural health by reducing the stress factors that cause disease. It is based on years of research in Quantum Physics and uses technology similar to CT Scan, EEG and ECG, which measure the body's electrical activity to provide information about a person's health status and recovery.
According to a Stanford School of Medicine study released in 1998 by Dr. Bruce Lipton, stress is the cause of at least 95% of all illness and disease. Dr. Lipton says the remaining 5% is genetic. Stress can come from a variety of sources including: toxicity, emotional or physical trauma, pathogens, mental factors, allergies, heredity, and nutrient deficiencies are a few examples.
Now you have the Quantum Choice. You can manage and reduce the stress of Diabetes and its other complications with the best in Computerized Integrative Quantum Medicine Biofeedback for a better quality of life!
